Thank you for choosing Nia J for your Slay! To ensure every Slay’Bae has a flawless experience, I have created a set of guidelines for us to follow. Please be sure to read before booking to reduce confusion and set clear expectations for both parties involved.

 

LATE NIGHT SERVICES

ANY APPOINTMENT BOOKED AFTER 8:00 PM IS CONSIDERED A LATE-NIGHT APPOINTMENT. THIS LUXURY SERVICE HAS AN $75.00 UPCHARGE THAT DOES NOT GO TOWARDS THE SERVICE. THIS FEE IS FOR THE LUXURY OF THE LATE-NIGHT SERVICE. THIS SERVICE FEE MUST BE PAID IN FULL AT BOOKING, REMAINDER BALANCE MUST BE PAID IN UPON ARRIVAL.

TRAVEL APPOINTMENT

THIS LUXURY SERVICE HAS AN $200.00 UPCHARGE THAT DOES NOT GO TOWARDS THE SERVICE. THIS SERVICE MUST BE BOOKED 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE.  THIS FEE IS FOR THE LUXURY OF TRAVEL SERVICES TO THE LOCATION OF YOUR CHOICE. THIS SERVICE FEE MUST BE PAID IN FULL AT BOOKING, REMAINDER BALANCE FOR THE SERVICE BOOKED MUST BE PAID IN UPON ARRIVAL.

Deposit/Retainer

  • A NON-REFUNDABLE retainer is required to book all services. The retainer varies from service to service, but it does go toward your remaining balance.By sending a retainer, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions/booking policies listed below.  

  • Your remaining balance is due in at the appointment. 

The Basics

 

  • I DO NOT GO OVER OTHER STYLISTS WORK.

  • WASHES ARE INCLUDED WITH ALL INSTALLS. 

  • Please do not book your appointment until you have your hair.

  • We reuse bundles over here!! If you are booking an installation with recycled hair, be sure to arrive with clean, dry, UNCUT extensions. I do not install cut bundles.

  • We reuse lace over here!!! If you are booking an installation with recycled lace, be sure to arrive with clean, dry lace! Please send me a picture of the lace before the appointment, If I deem it too damaged, I will not be able to install it Slay’Bae.

  • For the best lace install, I prefer transparent or HD lace. If you have a darker complexion, brown lace is acceptable for the meltdown.

  • No extra guests are allowed to accompany you to your appointment UNLESS you are a minor.

  • Please do not arrive at your appointment any earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time. 

  • If you are using uber/ride share or having someone pick you up, I will notify you when I’m almost done so you can make proper arrangements.

  • All remaining balances must be paid via CASH, Zelle, or Apple Pay. Please go to an ATM before your appointment Slay’Bae.

Contact

  • If you have any questions or concerns, please DM or text me during business hours. I will not return texts late at night, early morning, or when I’m slaying a bae. After your initial contact attempt, please allow for at least 24hrs for a response before making a second contact attempt.

 

Tardiness

  • Communication is key Slay’Baes, if you are running late, please notify me. You have a 15-minute grace period. After 15 minutes, you will be charged a $25 late fee. An Additional $5.00 will be charged every 5 minutes you are late until 30 minutes have passed ( $40 total). After 30 minutes, your appointment will be canceled.

  • In the same light, I give myself a 15-minute grace period. If I am not ready to start your service within the first 15 minutes of your appointment window, I will discount your service by $25. If I must push back your appointment, I will notify you at least 30 minutes prior. 

 

Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact me 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will forfeit your nonrefundable retainer. 

No Shows

 

  • Communication is key Slay’Baes. If you cannot make your allotted appointment time, please notify me. Failure to do so will forfeit your nonrefundable retainer. Your retainer will not transfer toward a new appointment. You must pay a new deposit when scheduling your new appointment.

 

Drop Offs

  • PLEASE WRITE YOUR NAME & APPOINTMENT TIME ON YOUR BAG

  • If you are booking a lace service, I require that the item is dropped off 3 business days in advance. Same-day customization will cause delays which would impact other Slay’Baes appointment slots. If you are not able to bring your lace piece within the time requested, there will be a $50 same-day customization fee. No exceptions. 

  • If you are booking a custom color with your install, I require that the hair is dropped off 5 business days in advance. Coloring CANNOT be rushed.

  • If you are booking a custom unit with hair that YOU are providing, please allow me 5 business days to create the unit. If you want the unit to be completed faster, I will charge you a $75 rush fee.

Coloring

  • 613 hair can be colored any color desired 

  • Natural Brown hair can be highlighted, colored Jet Black, Burgundy, or Copper.

 

Wig Revamps

  • If you have an old unit that you don’t want to get rid of, this may be the perfect service for you. A wig revamp can include replacing the closure, frontal, a cut, adding a bundle, coloring the unit, or whatever it takes to bring your unit back to life. Please book a consultation so that we can discuss your specific needs. Consultation and/or revamps will not be completed on the same day. Each revamp is different so allow 5-10 business days for this service. You can provide your replacement pieces or order them through me. If you are providing your replacement pieces, they must arrive with the unit. NO EXCEPTIONS. 

 

 

I am not liable for your hair once you leave my chair. I will ask you to confirm that you are satisfied before leaving. Please be vocal at that moment so I can ensure you are completely satisfied.
